DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://www.asqslc.org/event/asq-may-event-3">ASQ May
Event</a>\nProcess Mapping: From Soup to Nuts In this presentation on proc
ess mapping\, we’ll delve into the art of visually mapping out workflows
and processes and the wastes that can be involved in this waste removing
exercise. Process mapping\, also known as a flowchart or workflow diagram\
, provides a concise and straightforward representation of how a process w
orks and sometimes we lose sight of the end result. By identifying the ste
ps involved\, understanding responsibilities\, and pinpointing inefficienc
ies\, participants will gain insights into powerful\, yet simple\, process
improvement tool. Jason Neff Jason Neff is the Director of Production and
Supply Chain\, for O.C. Tanner in Salt Lake City\, UT. Before joining Tan
ners\, Jason was the Assistant Vice President of Continuous Improvement at
Intermountain Health and worked for 13 years to helped create\, and manag
e the Intermountain Operating Model (IOM)\, the framework for improvement
and operational excellence. Before healthcare\, Jason worked as an aerospa
ce engineer where he was trained and certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt f
rom Northrup Grumman\, and ASQ\, and certified Lean/Operational Excellence
from Boeing. He has been a member of ASQ since 2010. Jason holds a Master
