Bunnell Inc.
Bunnell Incorporated, founded in 1980 in Salt Lake City, Utah, by Bert Bunnell, specializes in medical ventilators for premature infants. The company developed the LifePulse High-Frequency Jet Ventilator, the first such device approved by the FDA in 1988 for treating acute respiratory failure in preterm babies, including cases of pulmonary interstitial emphysema and respiratory distress syndrome with air leaks. Bunnell remains the leader in gentle high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) for critically ill neonates, serving hospitals in the US, Canada, & Australia.
Bunnell's unique technology has contributed to improving the survivability of some of the smallest preterm infants in history.

Bunnell Incorporated's primary product is the LifePulse High-Frequency Jet Ventilator Model 204 & WhisperJet Model 314 Patient Box (pictured), a specialized device delivering gentle, rapid breaths (high-frequency jet ventilation) to critically ill premature infants.
It treats conditions like pulmonary interstitial emphysema (PIE) and respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) with air leaks when conventional ventilation fails. Supporting accessories include the LifePort endotracheal tube adapter for easier integration without re-intubation, and a disposable patient circuits.
The company also offers related disposables and 24-hour clinical support.
